For the weeks of April and May, the E&S club was able to repair the school garden by pulling out the weeds and throwing out garbage that accumulated it's way into the garden bed. We found potatoes while we were cleaning up the weeds!
The E & S Club ran the Golden Sneaker Contest in the first two weeks of March. Students competed to walk, roll, carpool, and/or use public transit the most. Carpool drivers were encouraged to drop riders a half-mile from campus to walk the remainder. A pizza party was awarded to the homeroom with the highest participation.
On October 8th, we hosted International Walk and Roll to School day. Students were encouraged to walk, roll, carpool, or take public transit to school. Carpool drivers were encouraged to drop off students a half-mile from the campus to relieve congestion and for students to walk the rest of the way. We handed out fig bars, pencils, and stickers to participants.
On November 7th, the E&S club did the Panda Express Fundraiser to raise money for our supplies and hoodies. We owe a big thanks to those who bought from Panda Express and used our code!
On November 20th, the E&S club hosted it's 5th annual climate strike in honor of COP 30. We are so grateful to those who joined our cause!
On February 11th and 12th, the E&S club held a Valentine's Day fundraiser where we sold pipe cleaner and crochet flowers. We were able to raise over $500! All the money we made is going towards ocean cleanup. Thank you to everyone who supported us and bought our flowers!
