We participated in International Walk and Roll to School Day on October 6th, 2021. We tallied students who participated by walking, rolling, carpooling, and taking public transit to school by collecting their signatures on posters. The support we received was amazing.
Climate Strike Announcement on our YouTube channel
Climate Strike
On November 5th, 2021, we held a climate strike to elevate the climate crisis at our school and to make students understand just how much we affect the climate and environment with the things we do and the materials we use.
We held posters and marched from the flagpole to the field. Students joined our march in support of our message to Demand Action at COP26
Check out our climate action on the E & S Club YouTube channel.
We held a clothing drive in which we gathered clothing and shoes from people in our school. The clothing was given to The Hidaya Foundation who ships donations to Pakistan.
The recycle/clothing drive was from Feb 16-March 9. We received over 20 bags of clothes and shoes. Thank you so much for all the help!
Bento Box and Bamboo Utensil Set Sale
This intention of this sale was to promote reusable utensils to lessen our negative impact on the environment. We conducted a student art contest to select artwork for the bento box and utensil set. We sold these items during lunch and after school.
