The Fremont Unified School District adopted the Roosevelt Resolution, a resolution to transition the school district to a zero waste to landfill entity. The Resolution lays out a progressive plan to limit the use of single-use plastics, eliminate food waste sent to landfills, and reduce the consumption of non-recyclable virgin paper.
The FUSD Board of Education voted on the Roosevelt Resolution on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 and unanimously agreed to pass it! Soon our school will implement the values of a plastic-free school campus.
